Starting the Conversation

This page provides thoughtful questions to start dialogue about contemporary art.

Liz Lerman's Critical Response Process

Liz Lerman is a choreographer, dancer and educator who developed what she calls a "critical response process." This is a four-step feedback process that structures productive and facilitated dialogue between artist, peers and audiences.

The Brooklyn Arts Council has a great outline of this process on their site that makes using it very simple and approachable.
